Job Information

A major regional Chartered Accountancy practice is continuing it's impressive growth providing Outsourced Management Accounting and cloud based accounting to it's diverse rage of clients. This has created an urgent need to appoint an additional Management Accountant at the earliest opportunity.

A premium is offered to attract a candidate possessing requisite experience gained from a competitor practice who can "hit the ground running" with the minimum of downtime.

Duties include;

Bookkeeping & VAT - supervision and training of junior staff (and clients staff, as required) in all aspects of bookkeeping and VAT preparation duties whilst reviewing existing bookkeeping systems (both internally and externally) and suggesting improvements; 

Management Accounts -  production of management accounts from client TB stage to final Director review level, balance sheet reconciliation, Identifying and solving errors within client financial records, advising clients of all errors and adjustments required, liaising with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient year end preparation, review of client systems and advising on improvements, ad hoc work requested by clients, i.e. cashflows, national statistics forms, grant forms etc;

Client relationships -  to use professional and client knowledge to generate additional business from clients, use on-line social networking sites such as Twitter, LinkedIn to build a professional profile personally and on behalf of the company, to attend networking events to develop relationships with intermediaries and potential new clients.

On going personal and professional development with support for AAT and/or ACCA study provided as required.
